What not to do in diarrhoea?
1.Do not starve the child. Offer him her/ small frequent home cooked hygienic food.
2.Do not give antibiotics or any other drug on your own except ORS any other medicine needs to be prescribed by Healthcare provider if required.
3.Do not use sugar /glucose solutions fruit juices or carbonated drinks for rehydration.
4.Do not stop breastfeeding or milk routinely during diarrhoea.
5.Do not delay consulting a Paediatrician if a child does not improve on his own or if child appears dehydrated or unwell.
