• In girls, the vaccine helps prevent cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases.
• In boys, it helps prevent cancers of the mouth, throat, anus, penis, and genital warts caused by HPV.
• The vaccine is safe, effective, and has been used worldwide for many years.
• Vaccination, along with regular cervical screening for women later in life, is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of cervical cancer.
